May 11, 11:38 a.m. Officer received a medical aid to the auto shop about a student feeling pain in his chest. He was taken to the school health center to find his vital signs were OK. He was recommended to see his personal physician.

GSA at LB Pride

Campus clubs are traveling all over and the Gay Straight Alliance is no different, traveling to Long Beach to attend the LB Pride Festival on May 16 and 17. "There were vendors, performers, and other schools there trying to get exposure," Dottie Wine, of the Southbay Center said, who attended the festival with ECC students.

EC Graduation '09

Business major Gilbert Zermeno was laid off from his job at this time last year causing him to have to go back to school and get a degree to look for a new opportunity. Come June 12, Zermeno will be among those students who will walk into Murdock Stadium as part of the Class of 2009.

Football team looking toward another strong season

This season, the Warrior's football team is looking forward to improving their record from a season a go, a respectable 9-1 regular season record, that was good enough to win the National Division Central Conference championship and earn an invitation to the playoffs, where the Warriors eventually lost in the second round to the College of the Canyons, 36-27.
