Graduation intents
For students planning to graduate this fall, petitions for certificates and graduation intents are due in the Admissions Office by Oct. 20.
Free mammograms
Free mammogram testing will be offered on next Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for staff, students and faculty in the nursing department, Technical Arts Room 101L.
Health workshops
An anger management workshop will be held today in the Health Center at 5 p.m.
The Health Center is alsooffering an anxiety disorder workshop Monday at 11 a.m. led by psychologist Ruth Taylor.
CSULB visits
Cal State Long Beach representatives will be on campus Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Services Center, Room 218A.
FASFA workshop
Students may get the help they need.
The "Financial Aid" workshop will be held Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the Student Services Center, Room 211.
Bring 2002 W-2 forms and/or 2002 tax returns and other financial statements. Sessions last approximately one hour. Students may call (310) 660-3493 for more information.
Santa Barbara tour
All students taking the UC Santa Barbara Tour Friday, Oct. 24 may sign up at the Transfer Services desk.
A $5 deposit is required at time of signing. Call (310) 660-3408 for more information.
Transfer Fair
There will be a Fall Transfer Fair Tuesday, Oct. 28 on the library walkway from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.The UC panel is from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Cafeteria Alondra Room.The CSU panel is from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Cafeteria Stadium Room.
UC Davis visits
Students may meet with representatives from UC Davis Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Room SSC 208.
Herpes research
Harbor UCLA is looking for female voluteers for a herpes prevention study. If interested you may call (310) 781-3625.
