Marriage is a privilege for all

"I do" is something said between two people who are committing their lives to one another in marriage. Many people go to weddings to see a couple in love join together in holy matrimony, so it's hard to understand why some think it's wrong to see gay couples marry.

Gay marriages are unlawful

Gay marriage should not become legal because of the negative impact it would have on the American society. A recent ruling by the activist Massachusetts Supreme Court found that the law should "apply equally" to everybody in regards to "whether and whom to marry, how to express sexual intimacy, and whether and how to establish a family..." The ruling in essence is what most proponents of gay marriage believe: The American public has no right whatsoever in establishing a set of standards for the government to follow in regulating marriage.

I have found my true American Idol. It is not any of the past idols like Kelly, Ruben, Clay or Justin. His name is William Hung. Yeah, laugh if you want. For those of you who are unenlightened, Hung is the infamous reject from the hit reality TV series, "American Idol.
