Most high school students envision themselves attending their dream college-the place that seems to guarantee happiness for the years following high school. Now with the Guaranteed Transfer Program, high school graduates will not only aspire, but they can actually attend the college of their choice.

Statewide budget cuts have already affected the lives of many California students. Currently, UCs have implemented a transfer program that guarantees admission to students who are eligible but were originally denied by the university of their choice. Although the program allows a second opportunity for students who desire to attend a UC, it is not as beneficial as it seems.

A lion makes a home at a park

Lions, tigers and bears! Oh my! We should be wary of them, it's true. They are wild animals, but some of them live here and should be treated with respect. A mountain lion began living in Griffith Park, which is in downtown L.A. There have been sightings of the lion, as well as other evidence found of a lion residing in the park.
