Despite a strong performance in the Southern California Finals, the track and field team wasn't able to finish within the top 10, but still managed to have six of its athletes qualify for the state finals. The Warriors' next meet will be their last of the year when they travel north to Sacramento for the California State Finals at American River College.

A well-rounded team performance at Saddleback College qualifies the Warriors for competition in every event except the 200-meters relay at the state finals tomorrow and Saturday. The next and final stop for the Warriors will be at American River College at Sacramento for the state finals, where an abundance of athletes will be competing tomorrow and Saturday.
Crack. Crack. Bing. These were the sounds heard around the field as the Warriors pummeled Compton to win their final game of the season. "We finally broke out of our shell," Josh Rose, pitcher, said. "We came together as a team and were able to put up some runs.
While the team members individually had mixed degrees of success, the doubles team of Tomoe Okaguchi and Ida Leong walked away with the greatest prize of all; the Southern California doubles badminton championship. "I was really excited that Tomoe and I won," Leong said.
It was all smiles when it avoided the rain, but it turned into tears for the men's and women's swim teams as the season came to an end at the state finals. The Warriors had a strong showing last week at Diablo Valley when the men finished in the top 20 and the women finished in the top 25.
