Warrior wins state championship

With an undefeated season on the line, EC's shot put prodigy trounced over her competition while contending in the State Championships Saturday at Cerritos. Reaching the pinnacle of their competition, and taking the field against the best athletes from all over California, the Warriors knew they had to compete hard so to not leave any regrets on the field.

Like a bomb, he stores-up his energy until he is ready to release it.  Like a bomb, he unleashes in an explosion of energy as people gaze upon him. And like a bomb, when Weintraub goes off, it is probably best to stand at a distance.

As the sun sets on another semester, we here at the Union will like to pay homage to the student athletes and coaches who made it worthwhile to write about sports all year long. The stories that were written exemplified courage and a willingness to win despite the odds that our Warrior teams had to face.
